February Newsletter

We began January by talking about the benefits of drinking tea. I want to begin February by “spilling a little tea” (all positive - smile)

As I have previously shared the changing of seasons can wreak havoc on our bodies from the top of our head to our toes. For this reason, it is so important that we take the steps necessary to take care of our bodies. One step that I have and will continue to encourage you to take is detoxification.

I have been excited to see a greater societal recognition of the need to detox one’s body. Yet with all of the increased knowledge, one “body” area that is frequently overlooked, is our head, more specifically our scalp.

The tea that I want to spill is “we need to detox our scalp” as part of our body detoxification.

A scalp detox will allow your scalp to breath and will promote hair growth by unclogging your pores of dead skin, and by removing toxins from your hair follicles. So during this month of “self-love", make an appointment for a Scalp facial.

A scalp facial or “Scalpial" will cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate your scalp. As part of your scalp facial, you will review a scalp lymphatic massage. The scalp lymphatic massage will help to remove waste and toxins from the body tissue.

The end result of your “Scalpial” will be a renewed, rejuvenated, and relaxed scalp and body.
